The full Academic Misconduct process is outlined here and the process specific for plagiarism process is outline in the flowchart below.
The flowchart for staff actions contains three trigger questions to help determine the actions that should be taken when plagiarism is suspected. For use by Unit Coordinators and other teaching staff.
Form 1 expands the trigger questions and is used by the Authorised Officer to evaluate the level of seriousness of an alleged plagiarism incident.

Courses for Students
To assist in avoiding plagiarism, students can be referred to The Learning Centre to undertake the Academic Integrity Program. This program aims to help students understand the conventions of academic writing and can either be attended as a face to face workshop or undertaken online.
